We all know Al Gore wrote the book on insanity, figuratively if not literally, after his 2000 election loss. His series of rantings about “BushHitler” among others only proves the point. It seems as though fellow presidential failure John Kerry has either read a hardcopy of Al’s Insanity Handbook, or has channeled a chapter via Gore.
There is no other explaination for this:
Failed presidential candidate John Kerry said Thursday that he intends to confront Congress with a document touted by critics of President Bush as evidence that he committed impeachable crimes by falsifying evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
“When I go back [to Washington] on Monday, I am going to raise the issue,” Kerry said, referring to the Downing Street Memo in an interview with Massachusetts’ Standard Times newspaper.
“I think it’s a stunning, unbelievably simple and understandable statement of the truth and a profoundly important document that raises stunning issues here at home,” the top Democrat added.
“It’s amazing to me,” the top Democrat said, “the way it escaped major media discussion. It’s not being missed on the Internet, I can tell you that.”
Actually Kerry isn’t the first to ride a “float” in this impeachment parade, Ralph Nadar was all over this memo last week. That, in of it self should give a slight clue how valid both the Downing Street Memo is and and any impeachment proceedings that may follow.
Any one with half a brain cell in working order would realize if the extremely anti-Bush NYT and WaPo haven’t covered the story, there is no story to cover. Unless they want to pull a Rather or NEWSWEAK and pulverize the 24 hour news cycle with stories on a memo that may not be authentic.
I think I’ll chalk this up to sore grapes and a reaction to the [Dim]ocrats losing a vote on withdrawal from Iraq in the House of Representives.
Oh… and Kerry being as looney as a champanzee on crack, not to mention stupid as hell.
