Not so sage advice from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
You wern’t expecting anything sane were you?
TEHRAN, July 23, 2006 (AFP) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Sunday told arch-foe Israel to “pack up” and move somewhere outside the Middle East, the state news agency IRNA reported.
“I advise them to pack up and move out of the region before being caught in the fire they have started in Lebanon,” said Ahmadinejad, who has repeatedly called for the Jewish state to be relocated elsewhere on the planet.
Thanks, but no thanks Mahmoud. Despite your sheep bleats to the contrary Israel isn’t relocating to Alaska, or your other preferred location “off the face of the map,” anytime soon.
However, I actually agree with one of his points:
On Saturday, Ahmadinejad lobbied Muslims to be more active in seeking an end to Israel’s continuing assault on Gaza and Lebanon.
Condi, get the Arab League on the line most-scosh.
As soon as Israel creates a
20 mile parking lot, er.. 20 mile buffer zone, pack it full of troops comprised of Saudi Arabian, Egyption and Jordanian forces.
Call Hezbollah’s bluff. They claim they are not terrorists and only fighting for their Arab brothers. I bet within 36 hours of any such force being deployed the rockets would still rain onto northern Israel and fighting would also breakout along the demarcation line established by Arab League forces.
Anybody wanna bet?
