I thought I’d seen all the disrespect and general all ’round asshattary from the ObamaMessiah and his sycophantic lemmings. But, I was wrong, they’ve taken to showing their utter contempt for fallen heros:

Portland police officers have asked for an apology after they said organizers of a Barack Obama rally set up Porta-Potties on a memorial honoring fallen officers.

Earlier this month, 75,000 people gathered in Waterfront Park in downtown Portland to hear Obama speak at a pre-primary rally. Officer Thomas Brennan, a seven-year veteran with the Portland Police Bureau, said he was happy to help at the rally after being called in on his day off.

“On short notice, a lot of people had to cancel trips. But they were glad to do it,” Brennan said. “It was very memorable, in more ways than one.”

Brennan, who controlled the crowd near the Portland Police Memorial, noticed several Porta Potties set up in the middle of the memorial. Brennan had been at the site five days earlier for an annual memorial service and a flag was still set at half mast on the day of the rally.

“There was plenty of room elsewhere so space wasn’t an issue,” Brennan said. “So someone used some really poor decision making, whoever elected to put them there. I mean, it’s somewhat hallowed ground, I guess you could call it.”

After several days, Brennan attached a photo he took to a letter and e-mailed it to dozens of media outlets and the Obama campaign.

Brennan said officers haven’t heard back from the Obama campaign. He said someone owes an apology to the families of the fallen officers.

“Not for a moment do I think that Mr. Obama had anything to do with this,” Brennan said. “But somebody at his campaign at a local level made the decision to put them there. And I just want an acknowledgement: ‘Hey, we made a mistake.'”

A representative with the Obama campaign responded Wednesday morning and said the Porta-Potties were placed at the memorial because of a safety issue for wheelchair access.

Wheelchair access.

Pretty hard to argue with that excuse.

And a very convenient one as well. I have one question though; If their location was chosen for easy handicapped access, was ObamaMessiah seen in line to use the facilities?

Or, were they only for the physically handicapped and not those with mental handicaps like the appeasement monkey ObamaMessiah?Related articles

Obama empty suitThe Jewish community is a bit leery of Sen. Obama as it is, but being so utterly clueless about World War 2 history may send more than a few of them into the Hillary camp, if not McCain’s.

Obama took the occasion of Memorial Day to offer this bit of historical revision (blatant lie?) in a speech in New Mexico:

“Obama also spoke about his uncle, who was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz. He said the family legend is that, upon returning from war, his uncle spent six months in an attic. “Now obviously, something had really affected him deeply, but at that time there just weren’t the kinds of facilities to help somebody work through that kind of pain,” Obama said. “That’s why this idea of making sure that every single veteran, when they are discharged, are screened for post-traumatic stress disorder and given the mental health services that they need – that’s why it’s so important.”

As a politician it’s expected Obama or any other politician would, shall we say “embellish” a story or anecdote from thier personal family history. It kind of goes with the territory, just ask “cork-screw landing under sniper-fire” Clinton.

Having said that, there is zero excuse for being so arrogant to actually believe people wouldn’t notice it was the Soviets that liberated Auschwitz not some mythical “American brigade.”

Obama relates the story is part of a “family legend,” but for someone so highly educated, and assuming he actually believes the “legend” and it isn’t a lie in the truest sense, it says a lot about just how close he is to being a blithering idiot and never learned and cared enough to learn the basic facts of what happened in Europe during WWII.

From the Wit (mostly wit – ed) & Wisdom Files comes this from the senior New York Senator Chuck Schumer and heard during the recent “big oil” dog and pony show on Capital Hill.

claimed “if [Saudi Arabia] did a million barrels of oil a day increase from today, it would go down about — the translation to gasoline would be about $.50 a gallon, maybe $.62.”

As Newsbusters notes it was just a couple weeks ago Schumer claimed a likely similar increase from drilling in ANWR would “reduce the price of oil by a penny.”

Obviously this old war horse of a Senator needs a new abacus. Or a swift kick in the ass on his way out of the Senate chambers. Permanently.

After viewing the above video ask yourself just how much of a cash outlay did al-Qaeda need to bring down the World Trade Center. (estimated to be somewhere between $400,000 and $500,000 to plan and conduct their attack.)

By making “defense spending” a center point in any argument about Iran’s threat shows his complete lack of tactical, strategic and geo-political understanding of the threat both Iran and al-Qaeda pose.

On the world stage ObamaMessiah is a neophyte, a mere babe-in-the-woods, who needs to be placed back in the Senate where (hopefully) he can do less damage than he could from the Oval Office.

“There’s no one I would rather be on a ticket with than John McCain,” the former Arkansas governor said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Asshat“Let me point out that all during the campaign, when I was his rival, not a running mate, there was no one who was more complimentary of him publicly and privately,” he said.

Your “Huckboom” went bust Huckabee if you think dragging out some spurious fact on how kind you were will get you anything more than a headline or two your as NUTS as those that thought you had a chance to be anything but county dog catcher.

“I want to make sure you know [McCain] was my number two choice. I still wanted to win, but if I couldn’t, John McCain, from always, was the guy I would’ve supported and have now supported,” Huckabee said.

And now we know how the former governor lost 100 pounds, by dumping loads of bullshit like this.

If being an empty suit, save for far too many prayers tucked into his pockets, isn’t enough to disqualify him from any office, his so called “benign joke” does: “That was Barack Obama. He just tripped off a chair. He’s getting ready to speak and somebody aimed a gun at him, and he dove for the floor.”

This asshole needs to sit down and STFU.

Irony MeterIs it the water in Washington D.C. or the water in Sen, Harkin’s home state of Iowa that causes extreme dementia that manafests itself when near a microphone and members of the media?

I can’t answer the question posed, but one thing I do know, Harkin is a full-on nutcase, and no better example of that is in this piece of trash spoken during a conference call with Iowa reporters.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s family background as the son and grandson of admirals has given him a worldview shaped by the military, “and he has a hard time thinking beyond that,” Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Ia., said Friday.

“I think he’s trapped in that,” Harkin said in a conference call with Iowa reporters. “Everything is looked at from his life experiences, from always having been in the military, and I think that can be pretty dangerous.”

Harkin said that “it’s one thing to have been drafted and served, but another thing when you come from generations of military people and that’s just how you’re steeped, how you’ve learned, how you’ve grown up.”

I’m really confused here, just what is it the Democrats believe about the military?

During the Bush/Kerry campaign military service was of great import to the extent Kerry used his mostly phony record as a brickbat tossed at the “AWOL” Bush.

Al Gore, um excuse me, The Goracle as he’s now known used the same tactic against Bush. Military service was important, and Gore served in Vietnam while Bush just flew around in airplanes in the National Guard stateside.

So yea, I’m confused as to just what these nimrods at the head of the Party of Democrats think.

Not only that, in Harkin’s case, he’s now claiming military service, at least those that volunteer and those with long family histories of service are somehow “dangerous.” MeThinks Harkin needs to shut his piehole considering he at one time felt military service so important to lie has ass off about his record.

Harkin made a 1984 boast that he had flown F-4s and F-8s on combat air patrols and photo-reconnaissance support missions in Vietnam. Or was was combat sorties over Cuba when he corrected himself when challenged by Senator Berry Goldwater.

Harkin finally acknowledged that he had never seen combat — that his military experience consisted of ferrying damaged aircraft for repairs from Japan to the Philippines.

Now THAT’s dangerous, not that he’d give one wit in the midst of a political campaign pitting two flawed Dem. candidates against one Rep. flawed candidate. And if he can get his “side” into the WH it’s all for the “better.”

As it is for Harkin to go to the mat in full support of the Ethanol scam for his states corn growers that has contributed to the current food shortage chronicled nearly daily in the world’s media. You want dangerous Harkin, that’s it, all for the sake of expensive subsidies for shifting corn from the food chain for a use as a fuel source.

Harkin, you’re a despicable asshat. And DANGEROUS to boot.

The closer ObamaMessiah gets to the White House the bolder the loony left become and no better exaple of that is thisunmittaged garbage published in the Seattle Times:

Democrats are rebuking President Bush for saying in his speech to the Knesset, here, that to “negotiate with terrorists and radicals” is “appeasement.” The Democrats took it as a slap at Barack Obama. What bothers me is the continual reference to Hitler and his National Socialists, particularly the British and French accommodation at the Munich Conference of 1938.

The narrative we’re given about Munich is entirely in hindsight. We know what kind of man Hitler was, and that he started World War II in Europe. From the view of 1938, what Hitler was demanding at Munich was not unreasonable, according to the prevailing idea of the nation-state. His claim was that the German-speaking areas of Europe–and ones that thought of themselves as German –be under German authority. He had just annexed Austria, which was German-speaking, without bloodshed. There were two more small pieces of Germanic territory: the free city of Danzig and the Sudetenland, a border area of what is now the Czech Republic.

We live in an era when you do not change national borders for these sorts of reasons. We have learned the hazards of it. But 1938 was only 19 years since Germany’s borders had been redrawn, and not to its benefit. In the democracies there was some sense of guilt with how Germany had been treated after World War I. Certainly there was a memory of the “Great War.” In 2008, we have entirely forgotten World War I, and how utterly unlike any conception of “The Good War” it was. When the British let Hitler have a slice of Czechoslovakia, they were following the historical lesson they had learned 1914-1918: avoid war. War produces results far more horrible than you expected. War is a bad investment. It is not glorious. Don’t give anyone an excuse to start one.

Classic leftist loony left douchebaggery, it’s all America’s fault because of WW I.

And also note this left turd changed the text of the original, this is what he originally wrote:

“What Hitler was demanding was not unreasonable. He wanted the German-speaking areas of Europe under German authority. He had just annexed Austria, which was German-speaking, without bloodshed. There were two more small pieces of Germanic territory: the free city of Danzig and the Sudetenland, a border area of what is now the Czech Republic.”

He added “The narrative we’re given about Munich is entirely in hindsight. We know what kind of man Hitler was, and that he started World War II in Europe. From the view of 1938,” after he received a bunch of grief.”
