I’m not sure if scumbag author Joe McGinniss is singing the Cole Porter ditty Don’t Fence Me In, but one things sure, the asshat doesn’t like HIS privacy intruded on.

A local new reporter was doing a piece on Palin constructing a fence to keep the creeps prying eyes out of her life.

Nice fence BTW.

Anyway the reporter decided to knock on the McGinniss door.

The reporter got an earful, something about “don’t frickin’ bother me,” (my words not his) and threatened to call the police.

Does this asshat know the definition if “irony?”

Not to put too fine a point on it but this scumbag is the very same one who bid $60,000 to have dinner with Sarah.

He later admitted he didn’t have the cash if he had won the bid.

Obama has ordered 1200 U.S. troops to the U.S. Mexican border, at the time I assumed it was a token effort – because in actuality that’s only about 1.5 men per mile – but now word is it’s much worse than first thought.

Via the U.S. State Department:

US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, the State Department said Wednesday.

The clarification came after the Mexican government urged Washington not to use the additional troops to go after illegal immigrants.

President Barack Obama on Tuesday authorized the deployment of up to 1,200 additional troops to border areas but State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters, “It’s not about immigration.”

He said the move was “fully consistent with our efforts to do our part to stem, you know, violence, to interdict the flow of dangerous people and dangerous goods — drugs, guns, people.”

(Emphasis mine) So it’s not enough to allow the Mexican president to stand before Congress and lie about the Arizona law and receive a standing ovation from some asshats – mostly Dems – now we have this token effort undermined by the complete failure to perform the governments primary job – PROTECT U.S. CITIZENS!

“We have explained the president’s announcement to the government of Mexico, and they fully understand the rationale behind it,” State Dept spokesman P.J. Crowley said.

Sure they do, and no doubt comforted to the point of taking extra long siestas by Obama’s capitulation to Calderon’s demands troops not be used for tracking down and capturing illegal immigrants.

The Mexican government is dependent on remittances from both legal and illegal Mexican immigrants as they are the second largest source of dollars behind the export of oil.

The phrase “follow the money” applies, and so does malfeasance with respect to Obama’s actions.

I think it’s safe to assume illegals will be able to thumb their noses – if not flash the Bird – at the 1200 Guardsmen as they flee into the U.S. as long as they are unarmed.

Great job Brownie Obama!

And before I close, note Crowley is perpetuating the lie 90% of guns found in Mexico come from the U.S.

90% of traced firearms originate from the U.S.

A large percentage of the guns recovered in Mexico do not get sent back to the U.S. for tracing, because it is obvious from their markings that they do not come from the U.S.

“Not every weapon seized in Mexico has a serial number on it that would make it traceable, and the U.S. effort to trace weapons really only extends to weapons that have been in the U.S. market,” Matt Allen, special agent of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), told FOX News.

The facts are:

In 2007-2008, according to ATF Special Agent William Newell, Mexico submitted 11,000 guns to the ATF for tracing. Close to 6,000 were successfully traced — and of those, 90 percent — 5,114 to be exact, according to testimony in Congress by William Hoover — were found to have come from the U.S.

But in those same two years, according to the Mexican government, 29,000 guns were recovered at crime scenes.

In other words, 68 percent of the guns that were recovered were never submitted for tracing. And when you weed out the roughly 6,000 guns that could not be traced from the remaining 32 percent, it means 83 percent of the guns found at crime scenes in Mexico could not be traced to the U.S.

Well so much for Obama’s Green Jobs canard.

You know the one, it’s where bazillions of dollars will be spent to make America “ecco-friendly,” produce enough energy to power not only the good ole US of A but every known planet in the universe and create more jobs than has ever been produced in the history of mankind.

At least that’s the bullshit Obama spews out on a regular basis.

Obama also cites the country of Spain as a model to follow.

NEWSFLASH courtesy the Spanish newspaper La Gaceta

As predicted was inevitable, today the Spanish newspaper La Gaceta runs with a full-page article fessing up to the truth about Spain’s “green jobs” boondoggle, which happens to be the one naively cited by President Obama no less than eight times as his model for the United States. It is now out there as a bust, a costly disaster that has come undone in Spain to the point that even the Socialists admit it, with the media now in full pursuit.

[…]

La Gaceta boldly exposes the failure of the Spanish renewable policy and how Obama has been following it. The headline screams: “Spain admits that the green economy as sold to Obama is a disaster.”

What no jobs, and electricity prices have sky rocketed?

Who’d a thunk it!

The internal report of the Spanish administration admits that the price of electricity has gone up, as well as the debt, due to the extra costs of solar and wind energy. Even the government numbers indicate that each green job created costs more than 2.2 traditional jobs, as was shown in the report of the Juan de Mariana Institute. Besides that, the official document is almost a copy point by point of the one that led to Calzada being denounced [lit. “vetoed”] by the Spanish Embassy in an act in the U.S. Congress.

The presentation recognizes explicitly that “the increase of the electric bill is principally due to the cost of renewable energies.” In fact, the increase in the extra costs of this industry explains more than 120% of the variation in the bill and has prevented the reduction in the costs of conventional electricity production to be reflected on the bills of the citizens.

What you mean Obama lied?

Well yeah, so what else is new!

Remind me again who it was that said, “under my plan electricity prices will necessarily sky-rocket.”

If you don’t know it was Obama.
