Gitmo CartoonThe Pentagon has confirmed that a Kuwaiti released from the US detention camp at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, three years ago carried out a suicide bombing in Iraq last month.

Abdallah Salih al-Ajmi and two other Kuwaitis are reported by their families to have taken part in an attack on Iraqi security forces in Mosul, a northern city that is the scene of intense fighting.

Although the families did not specify a date, seven people were killed in a suicide attack in Mosul on April 26.

In answer to the title’s question, why yes, she was. Along with these five nitwits and the appeasement monkey Obama-wamma-slamma.

What do all you weak-kneed idjits have to say now?

This is an appropriate place for the sage advice of Jeffrey Breinholt:

It is easy for human rights organizations to criticize Gitmo. The harder problem is finding an acceptable solution to detain terrorists willing to give their lives to kill us. So far, the best one seems to be the Military Tribunals, which might have offered a better alternative than repatriating Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi to Kuwait, where could try to kill those who helped liberate his home country on behalf of those who invaded it.

At the debate Wednesday night, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were asked what they would do, as president to mitigate the high cost of energy, specifically gas.

“We are going to investigate these gas prices,” Clinton said. “The federal government has certain tools that this administration will not use, in the Federal Trade Commission and other ways, through the Justice Department, because I believe there is market manipulation going on, particularly among energy traders.”

Clinton also said she would “quit putting oil into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and I would release some to help drive the price down globally,” she would embrace a gas tax moratorium, and sign into law “a windfall profits tax on these outrageous profits of the oil companies, and put that money back into the highway trust fund, so that we don’t lose out on repair and construction and rebuilding.”

Obama said he also supported investigating any price gouging as well as a windfall profits tax.

Both also embraced a new energy policy, and Obama promoted “spending $150 billion over 10 years in an Apollo Project, a Manhattan Project to create the alternative energy strategies that will work not only for this generation but for the next.”

Both got their asses collectively fact checked on energy policy and other parts of their Philadelphia debate as well by the experts:

  • Clinton said “people died” in 1970s bombings by a radical group of which an Obama acquaintance was a member. In fact, the deaths were of three members of the Weather Underground itself, who died when their own bombs accidentally exploded.
  • Obama said, “I have never said that I don’t wear flag pins or refuse to wear flag pins.” Actually, he did. He said last year, “I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest” because it had become “a substitute for … true patriotism” during the run-up to the Iraq war.
  • Clinton claimed that applying Social Security taxes to wages above the current cap “would impose additional taxes on … educators … police officers, firefighters and the like.” Actually, not many of them would be affected. The cap is $102,000 a year.
  • Obama denied his handwriting appeared on an old questionnaire that said he supported a ban on possessing a handgun, and he said he has never taken that position. Actually, his writing does appear on one of two versions of the questionnaire.
  • Clinton said she believes “market manipulation” is partly to blame for rising fuel prices. She offered no evidence of that. Past investigations of alleged price gouging have concluded that it’s mainly market forces that push prices up.

Specifically on the gas price gouging issue the Federal Trade Commission has repeatedly looked into allegations of market manipulation and fixing of gasoline prices. So far, it has found nothing to prosecute, not even in the post-Hurricane Katrina gas price spikes. FTC Chairman Deborah Platt Majoras testified before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation on May 23, 2006, about the post-Katrina price increases. According to the FTC’s press release, the investigation found 15 instances of “price gouging,” but the FTC added: “Other factors such as regional or local market trends … appeared to explain these firms’ prices in nearly all cases.”

Protesters Line-up Outside MSNBC Studios

Trust me, there’s a lot more images than just this one, a lot more.

The sad part of it is it takes a bunch of dissatisfied Hillary Clinton sycophants to round up enough people to have a protest. And more importantly, they wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for any real or imagined slight the network has given The Shill.

Why haven’t they rallied and protested against MSNBC’s blatant and continuing bias against anything conservative or Fox News? Why haven’t they filled NYC’s streets demanding the OlberFool’s sideshow that masquerades as a news program actually become one.

Stupid questions I know, but a valid one none-the-less.

Elton John claims ‘misogynist‘ Americans are hindering Hillary Clinton.

Elton John raised $2.5 million for during a one-off fund raiser for Hillary’s Shillary’s campaign with the musical gig at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Not content with just singing he decided as an ardent supporter of The Shill to turn political pundit:

Sir Elton John has staged a fundraising concert for US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and claimed that the “misogynistic attitudes” of Americans may be hindering her bid for the White House.

The star, an ardent Clinton supporter, raised $2.5 million (£1.25 million) for her campaign with the gig at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

“I’ve always been a Hillary supporter. There is no-one more qualified to lead America,” he told the audience.

But he added: “I’m amazed by the misogynistic attitudes of some of the people in this country. And I say to hell with them… I love you Hillary. I’ll be there for you.”

Well, if Elton will “be there” for Shillary it will be the first time he’s ever been anywhere “for a woman,” all things considered.

I tend to agree with Cassy, “Yes, of course, it’s the mysogyny! That’s why Hillary isn’t catching on!! All of us who dislike her must do so because we hate women. By comparison, all of us who dislike Obama must do so because we hate blacks, to follow the same line of logic… right?”

Yep that’s it, we don’t dislike her for running a miserable campaign that has seen two major staff shake-ups in two months due to blatant incompetency.

For leaving a trail of unpaid bills and unhappy vendors and had to loan her own campaign $5 million to keep it afloat in January.

“Hating” her for being a woman is much better (according to Elton) than casting The Shill aside for being caught red-handed lying about being under sniper fire in Tuzla, Bosnia. Or the fairy tale told about how “Once Upon a Time” she had been opposed to NAFTA.

And we certainly don’t hate her for claiming she was instrumental in helping bring peace to Northern Ireland. Despite the fact she lied her fat dumpy ass off.

Guess you’re right Elton, we haven’t a single thing to hate The Shill for except her being a woman.

But I have to say, since you “tied the knot” with your “partner” we hate you too. Because that makes you a BITCH! And well deserving of having that “Sir” ripped from your name permanently.

Dame Elton John is more fitting. Asshat!

Rocky Balboa!

Addressing a meeting of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Tuesday, the former first lady and New York senator said that she, like Rocky, wasn’t a quitter.

Recalling a famous scene on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Clinton said that ending her presidential campaign now would be as if “Rocky Balboa had gotten halfway up those art museum steps and said, ‘Well, I guess that’s about far enough.'”

“Let me tell you something, when it comes to finishing a fight, Rocky and I have a lot in common. I never quit. I never give up. And neither do the American people,” Clinton said.

Didn’t Rocky lose to Apollo Creed? A black man?

Something tells me Hillary didn’t think this through before issuing forth this analogy.
